Militants kill two persons, including a border guard, in Tripura

Agartala, Nov 18 (ANI): Militants killed two persons, including a border guard, in Tripura. The incident took place when Border Security Force (BSF) personnel went to fetch water in a civilian water tanker of the Coastal Construction Company to a nearby area. The BSF soldier was accompanied by two other civilians, including the driver of the water tanker. A group of militants ambushed the vehicle. The injured were airlifted to a hospital in Agartala, where the BSF soldier and one civilian were declared brought dead while the condition of another civilian is stated to be serious. Nov 18, 2014

Black money has pernicious impact on Indian economy: President

New Delhi, Nov 18 (ANI): President Pranab Mukherjee, said that unaccounted money on which tax is not paid has a pernicious impact on economy. Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi had promised his government would change laws or enact new measures to bring back such funds. On taking office, he appointed a panel to investigate the matter.
