New Delhi, Feb 10 (ANI): Congress President Sonia Gandhi and party Vice-President Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday congratulated Aam Aadmi Party Chief Arvind Kejriwal for his party's victory in the Delhi Assembly polls. In a major setback for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress, the AAP won the elections with 66 of the 70 assembly seats up for grabs. Oldest elephant 'Maheshwari' dies in Thiruvananthapuram zoo

Thiruvananthapuram, Feb 10 (ANI): An 85-year-old elephant, Maheshwari died in a zoo in Thiruvananthapuram city of Kerala. Maheshwari was the oldest inmate of the zoo. A couple of days back, a frail Maheshwari had collapsed after a bath and could not stand on her own since then. The zoo authorities tried lifting her up with a crane but all efforts went in vain. Surgeon at the zoo, Doctor Jacob Alexander said that Maheshwari breathed her last at 10.45 a.m. Zoo officials paid last respects to Maheshwari, who was also accorded with a proper funeral and complete last rites.
