Theresa May welcomes EUs Brexit discussions as she arrives in Brussles

UK Prime Minister Theresa May said she was glad the other 27 EU national leaders will meet without her to discuss Brexit negotiations on 15 December, saying it was only right that they prepare as well. She also reaffirmed Britians intentions of invoking Article 50, but refused to be drawn on the question of how long negations would take. Russian military video shows Aleppo evacuation route

Russias defence ministry has released a military video showing the humanitarian corridor for the evacuation of a rebel-held area of Aleppo. The drone video purports to show rebels and civilians being transported out of the eastern part of the city on 20 buses and 10 ambulances. Syria has guaranteed their safety. The evacuation was due to take place yesterday, but was postponed after a truce brokered by Syrian ally Russia and rebel ally Turkey broke down. A man who attempted to jump from the top of a 30-storey building was rescued by firefighters in eastern Chinas Suzhou city. A man was threatening to jump off a building ledge as emergency workers made their approach to the 30-storey structure in eastern Chinas Suzhou city. One firefighter is seen silently creeping up behind the man and grabbing him from the rooftop edge while the others distract him. Formerly conjoined twins reunited for the first time

Formerly conjoined twins Eva and Erika Sandoval have been reunited with each other for the first time since having surgery. The girls had a 17-hour separation surgery last week, involving 50 staff at the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford, California. The twins were resting in separate beds but couldn’t see each other very well, so their parents and staff carefully carried Erika over to her sister to say hello. Dec 15, 2016
