AAP reacts to Modi's 'anarchists' remark

New Delhi, Jan 10 (ANI): Launching a scathing attack on Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal at his first campaign rally in Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that "anarchists" can never run stable governments. He said AAP should stick to staging protests as they were good at it and allow the BJP to carry on with the work of running a good government. Modi appealed to the voters to "punish" AAP candidates this time for "wasting one year of the people of Delhi" and to give the Bhartiya Janata Party a chance. India, Bangladesh officials meet to discuss border issues

Agartala, Jan 10 (ANI): A two-day meet between Indian and Bangladeshi delegates began on Friday in Tripura, to discuss issues related to trans-border crimes, insurgent movements, human trafficking, narcotics and smuggling. Agartala city is hosting a 30-member delegation from Bangladesh for the India-Bangladesh Joint Border Conference. Personnel from India's paramilitary Border Security Force (BSF) and Bangladesh's Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) were also in attendance at the district magistrate-level meet. Sanjay Dutt's furlough extension request rejected, leaves for Yerwada Prison

Mumbai, Jan 10 (ANI): Bollywood Actor Sanjay Dutt left for Yerawada Jail in Pune on Saturday after Dutt's request for an extension in his furlough was rejected. Dutt said that he has been a law abiding citizen and that there is no favor for him because he is a celebrity. He urged the people to pray for his early release. Dutt had sought 14 days extension after exhausting the two weeks granted to him by jail officials. The decision on his extension plea came after the Mumbai police submitted its report to the Yerwada prison authorities. Dutt is serving 42 months of his five year sentence from May 2013 for illegal possession of arms in a case related to the 1993 serial blasts. So far, he has spent over 100 days out of jail between May 2013 to May 2014 either on furlough or parole. Jan 10, 2015

JD (U) leader KC Tyagi supported the allegations. NCP leader Majid Memon said that the prime minister should not use public money in rallies for any political party.
