Challenge Finance Minister to arrest me if money laundering charges prove true: Kejriwal

New Delhi, Feb 04 (ANI): AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday said that his party is wrongly being alleged for illegal money laundering. He said that the Central government has all investigation agencies under it and it can get the transactions probed rather than putting baseless allegations on AAP. Kejriwal challenged Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to arrest him if any such charges are proved to be true. India, Bangladesh border talks kick off in Tripura

Agartala, Feb 04 (ANI): India, Bangladesh joint district-level border conference to resolve trans-border issues kicked off in Tripura. A wide range of issues like smuggling, trans-border crime, insurgent movement, narcotics, human trafficking was discussed between officials of both the countries. Both the sides expressed satisfaction and said dialogue not only helps in mutually sorting disputes at grass-root level but also helps in confidence building between the nations. Officials of both sides maintained that frequent dialogue should take place at regular intervals as it helps in better coordination and improving ties. Issues related to four districts of Bangladesh and Tripura would be tabled on last day of two-day talks. Similar conferences would also be held in Assam and Meghalaya to sort out border issues. Fuel prices reduced ahead of polls in Delhi

New Delhi/ Bengaluru/ Mumbai, Feb 04 (ANI): Fuel prices have been reduced by Rs 2.42 for Petrol and Rs 2.25 for Diesel with effect from the midnight of February 3rd and 4th. Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) said it would cut the retail price of diesel by about 4.7 percent and that of gasoline by 4.1 percent from Wednesday (February 04), as global prices have eased since the last revision. AAP leader Ashish Khetan said that slashing of fuel prices was a stunt by the Central government keeping February 07 Delhi polls in mind. BJP leader Meenakshi Lekhi said that fuel prices never got reduced during Congress' rule. Meanwhile, residents gave their mixed reactions following fuel price reduction. Feb 4, 2015

Delhi Police summon AAP leader over seized liquor bottles

New Delhi, Feb 04 (ANI): Election Commission (EC) officials seized 397 cartons of liquor from a warehouse in west Delhi, days before the national capital goes to polls on February 07. Acting on a tip off, a team of EC officials raided the warehouse near residence of AAP leader Naresh Balyan in Uttam Nagar area and seized liquor. Police indicated towards possibility of Balyan's involvement. Balyan is AAP's candidate from Uttam Nagar. Meanwhile, BJP Spokesperson Meenakshi Lekhi, said that people should understand AAP's game plan. Voting in Delhi will take place on February 7 and the results will be announced on February 10. PM Modi interacts with participants of investor summit

New Delhi, Feb 04 (ANI): Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, hosted dinner for participants of BlackRock India Investor Summit and said his priority was to establish global benchmarks in areas like governance, transparency and taxation. Interacting with them, Modi said that the priority of his government was growth and jobs. The Prime Minister said there was raising interest in India, and "we have to accept that responsibility." The Prime Minister said he believes in a fair, predictable and consistent tax system, and in economic policies that will drive growth. Twenty one major global investors participated in the India Investor Summit earlier on Tuesday.
