Centre tells HC AAP 'clean' on foreign funding, Politicos react

New Delhi, Feb 19 (ANI): Politicos reacted on Thursday after the Central Government informed Delhi High Court that nothing has been found against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in its probe regarding allegations that it had received offshore funds in violation of FCRA provisions. However, the court had directed the government to file a fresh status report in a sealed cover regarding its findings in the matter. New Delhi, Feb 19 (ANI): Social Activist Teesta Setalvad's anticipatory bail plea, seeking protection from arrest in connection with a case of alleged financial fraud, will be heard by a new bench in Supreme Court on Thursday. Students in Chennai build solar powered e-scooter

Chennai, Feb 19 (ANI): Students of an engineering college in Chennai city of Tamil Nadu made a solar-powered e-scooter, an eco-friendly step to save non-renewable sources of energy. The solar powered scooter runs on a primary and an auxiliary set of batteries and takes six to seven hours to charge fully. It can travel at a speed of 50 to 55 kilometres per hour and gives a mileage of 45 to 55 kilometres, once charged. The students said the team created this scooter as solar power was the future. Bangladesh court awards death sentence to senior Islamist leader for 1971 war crimes

Dhaka, Feb 19 (ANI): Senior Islamist leader of Bangladeshs Jamaat-e-Islami Abdus Subhan was sentenced to death by the International Crimes Tribunal court in Dhaka for crimes committed during the 1971 war of independence with Pakistan. Subhan was the chief of Jamaats Pabna unit and was in charge of the party's highest policymaking body during the post-Liberation War in 1971. He has been charged with nine crimes against humanity, including murder, genocide, abductions, detention, torture and loot. Subhan was arrested at the toll plaza of the Bangabandhu Bridge in capital Dhaka on Sep 20, 2012. He was later shown arrested in the war crimes case and was sent to jail.
