Delhi Police launches 'Himmat' WhatsApp & Hike Group for women safety

New Delhi, Feb 25 (ANI): After the launch of a mobile application ‘Himmat’, the Delhi Police on Wednesday launched the ‘Himmat’ Whatsapp and Hike Group for women safety. Delhi Police Commissioner BS Bassi said that the WhatsApp group will prove helpful to women who use public transport on a regular basis. AAP govt announces reduced electricity bills, free water for Delhi

New Delhi, Feb 25 (ANI): Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Wednesday announced reduced electricity bills and free water for the people of Delhi soon after coming to power. Sisodia said that promises made by the AAP government will be fulfilled keeping the interests of people in mind. He said that the households which use electricity up to 400 units per month shall be eligible for paying half of their bill amount, while the families which exceed 400 units will have to pay the entire bill. Further, Sisodia announced free supply of 20,000 litres of water to every household in a month. The facilities will be effective from March 01 onwards. Feb 25, 2015

Recruitment Scam: FIR filed against MP Governor, Reactions pour in

New Delhi, Feb 25 (ANI): Reactions poured in on Wednesday after an FIR was filed against Madhya Pradesh governor Ramnaresh Yadav in the multi-layered examination and recruitment scam. BJP leader Subramanian Swamy said that PM Modi should take stand over the issue. BJP leader Prabhat Jha said that he has no doubt on Yadav's intelligence and that he himself will decide whether he wants to resign or not. The week-long extravaganza at the brilliantly lit Khajuraho temples, which celebrates the spring season, aspires to showcase the essence of various Indian classical dance forms at its purest. According to Indian mythology, the gods and goddesses were great lovers of music that comprises vocal singing, instrumental music and dance. Other Indian classical dance forms such as Bharatanatyam, Kathak and Mohiniyattam also enticed the audience. The dancers explored these forms through duet, solo and group performances, enthralling the audience with elegance and grace. Army assists disabled people by distributing wheelchairs and artificial limbs in JandK

Poonch, Feb 25 (ANI): Indian army assisted disabled people by distributing wheelchairs and artificial limbs in Jammu and Kashmir. The task was carried out by the Romeo Force Regiment 39 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and charitable organisation, Pritam Spiritual Foundation Trust, to help disabled people in the border belt of Poonch district. In November last year, the army had provided artificial legs to 20 people in a distribution camp at its battalion base. Meanwhile, chairman of the Trust, Jagbir Singh Sudan thanked the army for supporting them in this noble cause. Feb 25, 2015
