Navagam/ Mumbai/ New Delhi, June 13 (ANI): After authorities announced its approval to raise height of controversial Sardar Sarovar Dam in Gujarat, activists denounced the decision and alleged the authorities surpassed any approval from ministries concerned. After almost eight years the country's most controversial dam project, Sardar Sarovar Dam, got its final approval to raise its height by 17 meters after the current 122 meters, so that water woes from different parts of the state come to an end. Reacting to the decision, Narmada Bachao Andolan leader Medha Patkar alleged that concerned stakeholders were not consulted before the decision was taken.
