British snowboarder Billy Morgan became the first person to ever successfully pull a quadruple cork 1800 while competing in Livigno, Italy on 15 April.

Morgans jump involved four off axis flips and five full rotations. The jump is one full flip and half a rotation more than the previous record landed by Yuki Kadano at the US Open Slopestyle event in March.

Morgan made the attempt at Livignos Mottolino Resort, where it took 40 hours to prepare the jump for the 26-year-old.

Team GB Park and Pipe rider Morgan competed for Britain at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics and is expected to feature at the 2018 Games in Pyeongchang. In 2011, Morgan also landed the first ever Triple Backside Rodeo.
