SM Entertainment, a well known South Korean entertainment agency, has announced the release date for EXO member Kim Jong-dae a.k.a Chen's upcoming musical project called Years.

The music video is being made in collaboration with popular Swedish DJ Alessandro Lindblad a.k.a Alesso and it will be unveiled at 12am KST on October 7.

Through its official Twitter handle, the company revealed that it is planning to release both the Chinese and Korean versions together.

Meanwhile, the entertainment agency has confirmed the ongoing speculation regarding the first sub-unit of its popular South Korean-Chinese boy band. The news was first broken by a popular Korean media outlet named Osen, according to AllKpop.

Later on, the firm revealed that the three member group of Xiumin, Chen and Baekhyun will probably debut towards the end of October. Although the record label refused to spill out any details about the sub-unit, there is buzz that the young Korean heartthrobs will begin the filming of a new music video by the end of this week.

The rumours about a sub-unit were doing the rounds ever since SM Entertainment released a special video featuring Xiumin, Chen and Baekhyun. The video, titled Reservoir Idols, was unveiled during a solo concert of the boy band.
