Slash, best known as the former lead guitarist of Guns N' Roses, is finally coming to India. Rock fans who were left disappointed when one of his tours was cancelled by the promoters in 2013, have all the reasons to celebrate. Now, Live Viacom 18 is all set to bring Slash ft Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators on their debut India tour.

Saul Hudson aka Slash will be doing a two-city tour this November. The legendary guitarist and songwriter is being brought down along with his backing band The Conspirators and vocalist Myles Kennedy (Alter Bridge) to headline the second season of MTV Indies Xtreme, a rock music and adventure sports festival.

Last year's edition of MTV Xtreme 2014 had witnessed American thrash metal band Megadeth take the centre stage. And for MTV Indies Xtreme 2015, Live Viacom 18 decided to up the excitement by bringing one of the most loved rock artists of all time.

"I'm really looking forward to taking our World On Fire tour to India for the first time ever at MTV Indie Xtreme," said Slash, when asked about his debut India tour.

The band comprises Slash, Todd Kerns (bass and vocals), Brent Fitz (drums) and Frank Sidoris (vocals and guitar). They will be accompanied by Myles Kennedy (lead vocals), an American musician and singer-songwriter best known as a member of the rock band Alter Bridge.

As part of this tour, the band will be promoting their new album "World on Fire", which will be released in India in October via Sony Music. This is Slash's second studio album featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators.

So what are you waiting for rock fan junkies -- buckle up, as the biggest, baddest, boldest music and action festival with one of the biggest acts is all set to kick off. The organisers have called for tickets booking by offering a special 7-day big sale.
