Kathua, Oct 7 (ANI): Unemployed Kashmiri youth are being imparted with various technical trainings in a bid to explore their livelihood opportunities. 12 skill development programmes are running with as many as 100 unemployed youths being part of it. Project Officer, District Urban Development Agency, Zaffar Abbaz said that training to youths is being given by professionals in technical courses like welding, electronics, cutting tailoring, fashion designing and on computers, for a period of six months to one year. These training programmes are of free of cost and not just boys but even girls' participation was seen in large numbers. The youths who had completed six months training were also given multi-purpose tool kits and even a diploma. They can also start their own business and can also get financial aid from financial institutes.
