Sivakarthikeyan-starrer Remo has turned out to be a hit at the box office. The movie, which was released during the Navaratri festival, is completing its 50-day run in theatres across the state on Friday, November 25.

Coincidentally, the dubbed Telugu version of Remo is seeing its light of the day on Friday in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It is said to be releasing in over 500 screens in both the states. The film is being distributed by leading producer and distributor Dil Raju, who has paid a good price for the Telugu rights of the flick.

Remo had opened to a fantastic start at the box office on November 7. The movie collected Rs 6.25 crore from 400 screens on the first day and ended its first weekend at over Rs 20 crore.

It is a romantic comedy movie, which has won the hearts of the Tamil audience with its lively and entertaining content. Sivakarthikeyan stole the show in a cross-dressed avatar, while Keerthy Suresh, with her cute looks, took their chemistry in the film to new levels. It is one of the attractions of the flick.

Last, but not the least, the producer's extensive promotion at every stage of the making helped the movie to register such a huge response from audience, say trade experts. Remo has grossed over Rs 60 crore at the Tamil Nadu box office. It is the biggest hit of Sivakarthikeyan at the box office till date.

Bhagyaraj Kannan-directorial Remo is produced by RD Raja. The film has Anirudh Ravichander's music, PC Sreeram's cinematography and Ruben's editing. The film has Sathish, KS Ravikumar, Saranya Ponvannan, Rajendran, Yogi Babu, Aadukalam Naren and others in supporting roles.
