Sivakarthikeyan's 'Kaaki Sattai' Rocking Trailer Released [VIDEO]

The much-awaited trailer of Sivakarthikeyan-Sri Divya's "Kaaki Sattai" ("Kakki Sattai") was released on Saturday. One look at the video and one can guess that the film will be a complete action-packed entertainer with loads of punch dialogues, comedy, romance and songs. The trailer is likely to evoke good response from the fans. (check trailer below)

Earlier, the film's first-look motion poster and the songs were released and they fetched fantastic reviews from critics. The film's music is composed by Anirudh who has collaborated with Sivakarthikeyan for the third time after "Ethir Neechal" and "Maan Karate"

The composer had a fantastic year in 2014 with back-to-back successful albums like "Maan Karate," "Velai Illa Pattathari, "Katthi" and "Kaaki Sattai". Now there are big expectations on the trailer and it needs to be seen if the video will appeal to the fans.

Directed by Durai Senthilkumar, "Kaaki Sattai" is deemed as an action entertainer with Sivakarthikeyan playing the role of a cop for the first time. Sri Divya is cast as the female lead opposite the actor for the second time after their last release "Varuthapadatha Vaalibar Sangam" ("VVS"). The chemistry between the hit pair was one of the major highlights of "VVS" and it will be interesting to see if the actors have struck a chord once again in "Kaaki Sattai."

The action drama is completely wrapped up and the film is ready for release. Earlier, there were reports that "Kaaki Sattai" will hit screens during the Pongal festival period. But the film opted out of the Pongal race apparently due to the release of "I" and "Aambala."

The action drama has completed the censor formalities and has fetched a clean "U" rating from the censor board. An official announcement on the film's release date is expected soon.

The project is produced by Dhanush's Wunderbar Films and will be distributed by Escape Artists Motion Pictures.

Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan has shifted his focus on his next project titled "Rajini Murugan." The film will reportedly have the actor playing the role of a real estate broker. Newcomer Keerthi Suresh will be playing the female lead opposite Siva in the film directed by Ponram. Soori, Samuthirakani and Rajikiran are also part of the cast, whereas music will be composed by Imman.

"Rajini Murugan" is expected to hit the screens on 1 May, which happens to be Thala Ajith's birthday. But an official word on the release date is still awaited.
