Jammu, Sep 13 (ANI): Briefing about the situation in flood ravaged Jammu and Kashmir state, General Officer Commanding, 16 Corps, Lt Gen K H Singh said that the situation is returning back to normalcy as the flood water is receding gradually. He said that many roads cut off by the rain and landslides have been restored back by the Border roads and the Army and vehicles will soon be allowed to ply on them. Singh also said that the Army is working in rescue and relief operations and that nearly 16,000 people have been rescued. He also said that the teams have provided medical camps and are providing with food and shelter to the stranded people in the state.
