"Kochadaiiyaan", directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth Ashwin, is one of the most-awaited films of 2013. The epic drama has the superstar appearing in a dual role as father and son. The film also has Deepika Padukone, Aadhi, Jackie Shroff, Nassar, Shobana and Sarathkumar in supporting roles.

The Rajini-starrer is deemed as India's first 3D film using motion-capturing technology. Last month, a small teaser of the film was released on the internet and received grand response. The film's audio and trailer launch is expected to take place soon, though an official confirmation is yet to be made. The film is confirmed to release on 12 December, which happens to be Rajinikanth's birthday.
