Jammu/ Saharanpur, July 27 (ANI): Condemning violence in UP, Sikhs protesters in Jammu on Sunday took to streets terming Saharanpur communal clashes as a conspiracy against minorities. They protested against the violence that erupted in Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh in which three people were killed and over 24 got injured when two groups clashed over a disputed land adjoining Sikh temple. Police have arrested 24 people who were reportedly involved in fuelling the violence. Meanwhile, Inspector General (IG) Meerut Zone, Alok Sharma said that things are under control and no fresh violence has been reported yet. Paramilitary forces were seen patrolling the street across the city. The district administration had deployed 17 companies of security forces in the troubled areas while imposing curfew across six police stations in the city.
