The SIIMA (South Indian International Movie Awards) 2015 ceremony, which took place in Dubai on 6 and 7 August, is all set to be aired on several TV channels at 6 pm on Sunday.
SIIMA was instituted by Vishnuvardhan Induri, the founder of Celebrity Cricket League. It intends to promote the South Indian film industry on a global scale and attract the untapped potential of International movie goers. Its first ceremony was held at the Dubai World Trade Center in June 2012.
Having had another two successful events in Sharjah and Malaysia, SIIMA travelled back to Dubai in 2015. On the first day, the most promising upcoming South Indian film artists were honoured at the Generation Next Awards, held on 6 August. The second day was reserved for the main SIIMA Awards.
The awards were given away to the winners amidst scintillating performances by glamours actresses from Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam film industries. Trisha Krishnan, Shruti Haasan, Hansika Motwani, Shriya Saran, Taapsee Pannu, Adah Sharma, Kriti Kharbanda and Amala Paul were some of the actress, who stole the show with their amazing dance performances.
Balakrishna, Mohanlal, Dhanush, Allu Arjun, Rana Daggubati, Sonu Sood, Neil Nithin Mukesh, Vivek and Yash, actresses like Lakshmi Manchu, Malaika Arora Khan, Aditi Rao Hydari, Raai Lakshmi, Amoolya, Pranitha, Radhika Padit, Parul Yadava, musicians Anirudh and Devi Sri Prasad, singer Usha Uthup and a host of other celebrities from South Indian film industries were present on the occasion.

For the first time ever in the history of the TV industry, the award show will be simulcast in four languages. The SIIMA award ceremony will be telecast on popular South entertainment TV channels like Sun, Gemini, Surya and Udaya at 6 pm Sunday.
On Saturday afternoon, Brinda Prasad, the chairperson of SIIMA, tweeted, "@siima final edit going on in full swing! 4 languages edit in 16 Edit Suites! @vishinduri @anuj16rai @srikutty45 @AravindShiv @vrindaprasad." Later she added, "All set for the record breaking Simulcast on Sun TV, Gemini TV, Udaya TV and Surya TV at 6.00 PM Tomorrow @siima #SIIMA2015 #micromaxsiima"
