Bollywood heartthrob Sidharth Malhotra, whose last film "Kapoor and Sons" was a hit, has started shooting for his next. Sidharth took to his Twitter handle to share a picture with the directors of the film, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, confirming that the film has gone on floors.
Although the shooting of the film has begun, the title of the action flick continues to be a mystery. Earlier, it had been reported that the action flick was a sequel of Hrithik Roshan's "Bang Bang." However, Sidharth had said that the film has nothing to do with the first part. In fact, the clapperboard in the picture says that the Sidharth starrer is not "Bang Bang 2."
The untitled film has Jacqueline Fernandez opposite Sidharth. While this the first time the actors will be seen romantically involved in a film, both Sidharth and Jacqueline have earlier worked together in "Brothers." There were also reports that the young couple will share several steamy scenes in the film.
A few months ago, some pictures of the "Student of the Year" actor prepping up for his character had surfaced. Apparently, Sidharth will be seen performing some high-octane action sequences in the action flick, which also stars Rajkummar Rao.
Meanwhile, Sidharth recently wrapped up "Baar Baar Dekho" shoot, which has Katrina Kaif in female lead role. Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Karan Johar and Farhan Akhtar, "Baar Baar Dekho" has been directed by debutant Nitya Mehra.
On the other hand, Jacqueline will soon be seen in "Housefull 3," which will release on June 3. The comedy flick has an ensemble cast including Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh. The Sri Lankan beauty also has action adventure film "Dishoom," which will hit the theatres on July 29.
