New Delhi, Oct 23 (ANI): While texting can be a great way to stay in touch, it also has a downside, which includes losing sleep, not being able to give undivided attention to important things, etc. According to a recent study in the journal Psychology of Popular Media Culture, putting aside your cell phone can yield great results as constant use of it can be disruptive to your sleep patterns as the more people texted during the day the poorer their sleep was. Texting during the time spent with loved ones can prevent full engagement and your divided attention could keep you from what's truly important.
