After the success of 'Aashiqui 2', Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor are all set to team up again for the Hindi remake of Tamil superhit "O Kadhal Kanmani", also known as "OK Kanmani".

Directed by Mani Ratnam, "OK Kanmani" is about a live-in couple and the Hindi remake of the romantic flick will be directed by "Kill Dill" director Shaad Ali.

Mani Ratnam confirmed the news, saying, "Yes, I have the rights of the original Tamil film and the Hindi remake has been finalised. It will be directed by Shaad Ali," Mumbai Mirror quoted the ace director.

Aditya and Shraddha's chemistry in "Aashiqui 2" was liked a lot by the audience and the two will now romance in the remake of the widely-successful Tamil film.

Earlier, it was rumoured that Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt were approached to play the lead roles in "OK Kanmani" remake, but they refused due to date issues. Later, it was also reported that Sonakshi Sinha was to be pairing with Aditya for the film. However, it has now been confirmed that Aditya and Shraddha have been roped in for the project.

The Hindi screenplay of "Ok Kanmani" is reportedly being co-written by Mani Ratnam and Shaad Ali, and the film will go on floors in early 2016. AR Rahman, who composed music for the original Tamil film, will compose music for the remake too.

Shraddha recently returned to Mumbai after wrapping up the shooting schedule of her upcoming multi-starrer film "Rock On 2" in Shillong.

On the other side, Aditya has been busy with the shooting of "Fitoor" starring Katrina Kaif in the female lead role.
