The shooting of the upcoming Malayalam film "Cousins", directed by Vysakh is wrapped up. The film, which stars Kunchacko Boban, Indrajith, Joju George, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Vedhika and Nisha Aggarwal in the lead is now scheduled to release during Christmas.
The film is touted as a typical entertainer with all elements, including music, dance, comedy and fights.
The lead actor Kunchacko said that the film's shooting was an enjoyable experience.
"Dear all....finally wrapped up the shoot of COUSINS yesterday...a gruelling and demanding period of 77 days...by God's grace all went well n fine...And more than that,we all enjoyed the shooting days ..The bonding,the camaderie and energy still lingers ..Hope COUSINS will be a total entertainer for this Xmas....need all ur prayers n support....!!!," said Kunchacko on his Facebook Page.
The story of "Cousins" revolves around four cousins, Sam, Joji, Pauly and Tony. The story begins when Sam has a memory lapse of six years. The film revolves around the other cousins' efforts to find out the reason of his memory loss. Kunchacko will play the role of Sam, Indrajith will be seen as Joji, Suraj Venjaramoodu plays as Pauly and Joju George as Tony.
"Cousins" also has Miya, Pradeep Rawat, Kalabhavan Shajon, P. Balachandran, Santhosh and Shiju in pivotal roles and Kamalini Mukherjee of "Natholi Cheriya Meenalla" fame has also made a special appearance in an item dance.
The film has already made news regarding its dance sequences, which is said to be the most expensive ever for a Malayalam film. Reportedly, the song is shot with a huge budget of ₹80 lakh and is said to have 600 dancers and more than 50 horses in it. The lyrics are written by Murukan Kattakada and Rafeeq Ahammed. The song is composed by M Jayachandran, and is sung by Shreya Goshal, while the cinematography is handled by Vinod Illampally.
"Cousins", shot in Bangalore, Kodaikanal, Pollachi, Athirapally and Kochi is produced by Vaishak Rajan under the banner of Vyshakha Cinemas.
