Ajay Devgn-starrer "Shivaay" and multi-starrer "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" are slated to be released on the same date. This seems to be a big box office clash and Ajay too said that he wanted a solo release for his film.

During the trailer launch event of "Shivaay," Ajay talked about the clash. "Clash doesn't matter. Though I wished solo release but anyway. I am more concerned in what I am doing," Bollywoodlife quoted Ajay as saying when asked to comment on "Shivaay" clashing with "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil."

Both "Shivaay" and "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil," starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, will hit the screens on Oct. 28 this year. Ajay also revealed a special reason of making a film like "Shivaay."

"I don't want to call it masterpiece but I am bored of mediocre films. So someone has to raise the bars. For this film, I haven't taken any films since past two years because this needed such amount of passion. If you have to do such films, you have to sacrifice," he said.

While "Shivaay" is a full-fledged action film directed by Ajay himself, Karan Johar's "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" is a love story where Ranbir will be seen romancing a lady elder to him, played by Aishwarya.

"Shivaay" also features Sayyesha Saigal and Polish actress Erika Kaar. It is touted to be one of the most expensive films in the history of Bollywood and the trailer also suggests the same. Ajay will be releasing two more trailers of "Shivaay" back to back.
