Ajay Devgn's "Shivaay" trailer isn't out for another 4 days, but the reviews are already out and it's all in favour of it. The superstar held a special screening for family and friends on Tuesday.

Catch News has put out a descriptive piece outlining what one can expect from the "Shivaay" trailer. Officially, it will be out on Aug.7. Ajay plans to launch it in Indore, in the presence of one of his biggest fan clubs, and apparently, a meet-and-greet has been arranged.

Meanwhile, you can catch the "Shivaay" trailer online on Facebook and Twitter

First up, it's a visual treat and the action sequences are "next level" material. Even though the trailer stretches to 3 minutes and 40 seconds, it keeps you hooked and never spills the bean on storyline leaving the viewers wanting for more. Ajay is "raw" and "intense" in this action-thriller and promises bone-chilling moments.

Here's what critics have to say:

Kumar Mohan: Saw #ShivaayTrailer yesterday, absolutely fantastic! @ajaydevgn set to treat with his action amidst the slow clad beautiful locations

Linaa Yadav: Witnessed the trailer of @ShivaayTheFilm! @ajaydevgn has raised the bar! The appetiser has loads of promise! Waiting for Diwali dhamaka!

Komal Nahta: AjayDevgan has one helluva film in #Shivaay if trailer is indication. Breathtaking visuals; best part: emotions in midst of adventure&action

What else do we know about the film?

This is Ajay's second time in the director's chair after "U Me Aur Hum," which starred Kajol in the lead. The film has been shot at picturesque locales across Bulgaria.

Scheduled to be out on Oct. 28, "Shivaay" is all set to clash with Karan Johar's "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" at the box office. But that hasn't dampened Ajay's spirit and he's taking it pretty well. He said it was okay for more than one film to open in theatres on the same day adding that the better film will win the race.

In this bone-chilling, action-packed journey called "Shivaay," Ajay will be joined by Erika Kaar and Sayyeshaa Saigal. Salman Khan could be a part of the film. According to a SpotboyE report, the "Sultan" star has been approached for a special track and rumour has it, he has agreed to feature in it. The number will be used for promotional purposes.
