Bhopal/ Bhiwandi, Nov 4 (ANI): Shi'ite Muslims in India beat their chests and walked on burning coals during Ashoura processions on Tuesday to pay homage to martyrdom of Imam Hussein, grandson of Prophet Mohammed. In Bhopal city of Madhya Pradesh, Muslim devotees thumped their chests, to mark the mourning day of Ashoura, one of the most important days in their calendar. A mourner Asghar Ali said that sacrifice of Imam Hussein was not for a particular religion but it was a fight against evil.
