Is Shankar repeating Rajinikanth-Aishwarya pair in "Enthiran" Sequel? And the answer is "yes", according to rumour mills.
Grapevine has it that Shankar has decided to go with Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan pair in "Enthiran 2". The director is reportedly busy finalising the cast and crew for the mega-budget project.
Initially, it was said that Aamir Khan would be playing the lead role in "Enthiran 2". It was Shankar's dream to work with the Bollywood's Mr Perfectionist. They had a few rounds of talks. But it appears the actor could not take up in the end as he wants to dedicate himself for his next film "Dangal".
Later, it was said that Shankar wanted to cast Aamir Khan in the role of a baddie and not in the main lead role. The duo along with Rajinikanth had talks about the project but in the end the Bollywood star could not accept the project because Shankar plans to start the movie soon.
The latest buzz says that after Rajinikanth, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who took almost five years break from films post delivering a baby, has now donned the grease paint with Sanjay Gupta's "Jazbaa". It appears like the actress had no qualms in accepting the movie as she shares good working relationship with Shankar and Rajinikanth.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had earlier worked with Shankar in "Jeans" and "Enthiran", which featured Rajinikanth in the lead role.
Coming back to the sequel, it is the second instalment to "Enthiran", which remains the biggest hit in South India till date at box office. Rajini's electrifying screen presence with world class technical values, the movie had taken the South audience by storm. The response for its dubbed Hindi version was also received well by the Hindi audience.
