The official trailer of Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush's "Shamitabh", which was released on YouTube on 6 January, has got fantastic response from movie buffs across the globe.
The movie, written and directed by R Balki, features Amitabh Bachchan, Dhanush and Akshara Haasan in lead roles. Maestro Ilaiyaraaja has composed music for the songs and background score, while PC Sreeram has handled cinematography.
The 2.08-minute trailer does not offer enough hints into the film's story. But after watching the trailer, it's clear that the performances of Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush are likely to be the highlights of the film. Ilaiyaraaja's amazing background score, Sreeram's brilliant camera work and punch dialogues will be the other big attractions.
The trailer of "Shamitabh" has been viewed by 4 lakh people in less than 24 hours after it was released on YouTube. Around 4500 people have given thumbs up to the video, while it got nearly 230 thumbs down. It has also garnered 300+ comments, most of them positive.
