The battle for supremacy between the three superstars of Bollywood - Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan - seems to have gone beyond borders. The actors are now striving to win the hearts of Japan Audience.

According to reports, Aamir's 2009 blockbuster "3 Idiots", Salman's "Ek Tha Tiger" (2012) and SRK's "Don 2" (2012) and "Jab Tak Hai Jaan" (2012) will release on 20 April. All these movies have crossed the ₹100 crore mark at the Indian box office.

Yash Raj Films (YRF) and Reliance Entertainment will jointly release four movies in Japan. They have already premiered "EK Tha Tiger" in the country of rising sun. The movie is tilted "Thaiga Densetsu No Supai" in Japanese.

The director of "Ek Tha Tiger", Kabir Khan, who had been in Tokyo for the film's premiere said that the movie will initially release with 30 prints. Earlier, a Hindi movie released in Japan would hardly have four prints.

"So #EkThaTiger is now finally launched in Japan. We had a lovely premier last night... We release with 30 prints & will scale upto 70 :-) " Kabir Khan tweeted.

Speaking about the release the director said, "This will be a release as big as a Japanese film. The distributor, Nikkatsu, has promoted the film all over Japan. This release will be the true test to see if Hindi films are accepted here," Hindustan Times reported.

The premiere, which was also attended by Japanese actor Yumi Sugimoto, reportedly received a good response in Japan.

Meanwhile, YRF is also planning to release "Dhoom 3" in Japan for which they are reportedly holding talks with Nikkatsu.

The Japan National Tourism Organization is also backing this endeavour. YRF is presently scouting for locations to shoot a film in the country, reported Hindustan Times.
