The makers of the movie "Shaandaar" will launch the film's first song "Gulaabo" on 10 September, and Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will perform live at the event in Mumbai.

The much awaited song from the movie will be released on YouTube at 4.30 pm and both the stars of the film decided to make it special with a live performance. 

Both the "Shaandaar" actors took to micro-blogging site twitter on Tuesday and shared the first look of their song "Gulaabo". The song looks fun and Alia is seen wearing a tweed jacket and pants, while donning a moustache. It is the first time that Shahid and Alia will have a live performance together.

''The gulaabo gang of insomniacs is coming for you #2DaysForGulaabo @aliaa08 @foxstarhindi @dharmamovies @fuhsephantom," Shahid tweeted earlier.

Alia also informed her fans about the upcoming song as she tweeted, ''Sleepless? Time for GULABO #2DaysForGulaabo #GulaaboOn10th."

The song also features Shahid's sister Sanah Kapoor and it was earlier reported that Sanah's presence in the film is this year's "Raksha Bandhan" gift from her brother Shahid.

"Gulaabo" has been written by Anvita Dutt and sung by Vishal Dadlani and Anush Mani. 

Directed by Vikas Bahl and co-produced by Phantom Films, Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Fox, the film has created a lot of curiosity ever since the release of its trailer.

"Shaandaar" will hit theatres on 22 October.
