Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan's spot-boy Subhash dada passed away on Sunday due to prolonged illness.

Subhash, who worked with Shah Rukh for more than 25 year, was battling cancer. He was ill for quite a few months and was on bed rest. While SRK hasn't said anything on his trusted spot-boy's death, his manager Karuna Badwal tweeted a photo of Subhash with the actor along with a caption, "Spl r the workings of the universe..this pic got tweeted as Subhash Dada left for a better place today to RIP..pray!"

Shah Rukh is currently in Bulgaria for the shooting of the film "Dilwale", but reports have it that the actor saw the funeral live through a video call.

Also, his wife Gauri Khan and son Aryan Khan attended the funeral of his spot-boy at the Khar Danda crematorium in Mumbai.
