Shah Rukh Khan's "Fan" is on every movie lover's radar. After being pushed from its initial release date, the Maneesh Sharma directorial is now reportedly being delayed further.

According to an ANI report, the film is set to hit the screens in September 2016.

A while ago, Dharma Productions honcho Karan Johar announced on Twitter that Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra's "Brother" would now be released on 14 August.

Yash Raj Films confirmed the development tweeting, "YRF's #FAN release being delayed to complete never-seen-before VFX. New date coming soon."

"Fan" will see SRK portray a superstar and a commoner.

"As an actor, I feel that having done a big film, Happy New Year, I wanted to do a cozy film which is intense and yet commercially viable. Maneesh came out of the blue and he reminded me of a subject he had narrated eight years ago. I was sitting with Adi (Aditya Chopra) and instantly agreed because I was in a happy state of mind," SRK told IANS much before he kick-started the schedule.

In other news, the superstar has wrapped up the Bulgaria schedule of Rohit Shetty's "Dilwale", which also stars Kajol. The country's capital city, Sofia, went berserk on the actor's arrival. The on-set pictures have also gone viral on social media.

Scheduled for an 18 December release, the romantic comedy also stars Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon and Vinod Khanna in significant roles.
