After a one-minute teaser introducing the new-age graphic novel 'Atharva-The Origin', its makers Virzu Studious have now revealed a photo of Shah Rukh Khan's ripped avatar in it. While SRK's first-look from the novel featured him in heavy armours and beard, this one has him brooding with long hair and chiselled contours.

An official adaptation of Ramesh Thamilmani's book of the same name, the story focuses on the Earth's transformation and the journey of a solitary king who braves all odds to reach his destination. There are no historical or mythological references in it and its set to release in mid-2015.

Talking about the novel, the author said he was certain that the finished product would impress the superstar. Elaborating further he said "Atharva" is peppered with birds, beasts and monsters.

"We felt the character Atharva and the personality of Shah Rukh Khan matched perfectly. Keeping that in mind, when we pitched the idea to him, he instantly agreed and expressed lot of enthusiasm to be associated with the project. We approached him with the basic idea and some illustrations. He has always been game for new ideas and innovations, and we think that's what must have persuaded him to be part of this project," IANS quoted the novel's author, Ramesh Thamilmani as saying.

Apart from this super special project, SRK is currently working hard on Maneesh Sharma's 'Fan' and will reportedly begin Rohit Shetty's next, which has been tentatively titled as 'Dilwale'.
