Shah Rukh Khan recently declared that he would do three films in a year on an average after he completes his 50th birthday on 2 November.

SRK has apparently been busy in the recent past owing to his production ventures but now his birthday resolution seems to be to do as many as 15 films, of different genres, in the coming five years.

"I want to do as many films as possible before I die. It has been four or five years that I have become producer. I started feeling that in the last one year, I am not doing many films that I can actually do. I am just doing one film in a year and I am feeling lazy," Times of India quoted Shah Rukh as saying during a media interaction on the sets of "Dilwale".

"I want to do different roles. So, I decided that from the age of 50-55, I want to do 15 very nice filsm and that will include popular films, offbeat films, mad films and many more. I will do many different films. I want to do three films in a year," the "Dilwale" actor added.

While, Shah Rukh has been doing just one film in a year, Akshay Kumar is the only superstar in Bollywood, who has been consistently doing three to four films annually.

Akshay, who is prepping for a couple of upcoming movies including "Airlift" and "Housefull 3", is known for his time management skills as he is able to take out considerable time for his family holidays even after doing four films in a year.

Apart from being the only superstar, who is capable of offering three films on an average in a year, Akshay is also one of the few Bollywood actors (excluding the Khans), whose films have been entering the Rs 100 crore club.

While, Shah Rukh's box office record is much better than Akshay's, is SRK now trying to be at par (if not above) with the latter, in terms of the number of films in a year? Tell us what do you think in the comments section.
