After treating fans with teasers and a promotional song, Shah Rukh Khan and the makers of "Fan" will soon reveal the trailer of the much-awaited film of 2016. During the promotional song launch in Delhi, Shah Rukh revealed that "Fan" trailer will be launched by the end of February.
Shah Rukh launched "Jabra Fan" song, which is the only track from the film, in Delhi on Feb. 16, and along with that, he revealed that the much-awaited trailer will be released on Feb. 29 (Monday). SRK, who plays the role of Gaurav Chandana in the film, will release the trailer at a grand event in Mumbai, Monday, DNA reports.
Maneesh Sharma's directorial film "Fan" is about superstar Aryan Khanna and his biggest fan Gaurav, both played by Shah Rukh. In the film, which is a thriller, Aryan and Gaurav are pitted against each other.
"'Fan' is not just about the love of the fan for his favourite superstar. In the film, eventually Gaurav and Aryan are pitted against each other and it's the superstar who plays the nemesis to the fan," DNA quoted a source as saying.
"Fan" is touted as one of the biggest movies of 2016, and the first look and teasers of the film have generated curiosity. The first teaser was released in July 2015, followed by the first teaser poster in August and the logo of the film in October. The second poster featuring SRK as Gaurav was released on his 50th birthday, i.e. on Nov. 2, 2015. And on Feb. 16, the promotional song of the film "Jabra Fan" was released in Delhi.
The thriller drama, produced under Yash Raj Films' banner, is slated to release worldwide on April 15. The film features SRK in the lead role and supermodel Waluscha De Sousa as his leading lady.
