The doting father image overtook Shah Rukh Khan on Saturday, as the actor shared a photo of his daughter Suhana.

The 48-year-old, who is carrying a shoulder injury, took to Twitter to share a picture of his daughter Suhana in a blue jersey, playing football.

Shah Rukh lovingly referred to the 14-year-old as his Lionel Messi, as he captioned the photo. "Skinned knees and bruised elbows look beautiful on little girls. My messy Messi," he tweeted.

Suhana, who is following in the footsteps of her father in terms of the skills in football, is quite a pro at her game. The teenager has captained her school football team on previous occasions and has emerged on the winning side.

Apart from football, the youngster also participates in athletics. However, Suhana has her career aim set on acting, as she had stated in an earlier interview.

"I want to be an actress. Not just a Bollywood actress. My dad says that I should be an international actress and be open to acting anywhere in the world," said Suhana, adding that she does not want to study in India," Daily News Analysis reported.

Meanwhile, a few days ago, Shah Rukh had posted old pictures of his children Aryan and Suhana hugging him. "The not too loose or tight philosophy of life doesn't apply to these hugs. These ones tighter the better!!!" the "Chennai Express" star captioned the photo.

The post was a follow-up to a previous tweet on his recent injury, which read: "Been strapped around the joints last few days. Realised the truth of life through bandages. Not too tight not too loose...keeps it comfortable."
