Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who arrived in Mumbai after attending the 14th edition of the International Indian Film Academy Awards, visited Hrithik Roshan in Hinduja hospital.

Hrithik was admitted to the hospital on Sunday where he underwent a successful brain surgery to remove a two-month-old clot.

While Shah Rukh met his "Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham" co-star on Monday, his wife Gauri, who is close friend of Hrithik's wife Sussanne Roshan, visited the actor on Sunday. Other Bollywood celebrities to visit the "Krrish 3" star are Sharman Joshi, Sanjay Kapoor, Uday Chopra and Rajpal Yadav and several others.

Hrithik underwent the surgery after he was diagnosed with chronic Subdural Hematoma, a serious condition caused as a result of head injury. The clot in the brain was caused due to a head injury the actor sustained during the shoot of his upcoming film "Bang Bang" which also stars Katrina Kaif.

Talking to reporters about Hrithik's condition, his doctor Dr VK Mishra said, "Hrithik Roshan was performing stunts for his upcoming film Bang Bang two months ago and he suffered an injury on his head. He started developing pain and hence he started taking pain killers but they wouldn't work. So, he went for a CT scan in May end. Later it was found that there was a clot in the brain."

Hrithik is said to be doing fine and will be discharged in two days. Sussanne, who was in the hospital with the actor's family said, "Thank you for all your love and concern, Hrithik has come out of the surgery stronger than ever before. Gratitude and love to all of you for all your good wishes and prayers for him."

Hrithik informed his fans about the surgery on Facebook saying, "I am going to go through brain surgery today and want you to know that I am going in with absolute power to recover fast. My thanks to all of you for using the power of your mind to contribute to my life. Love you all."
