It seems like Shah Rukh khan and his "Meenamma" Deepika Padukone are having a gala time in Dubai while shooting for their upcoming film "Happy New Year".

This is the third time that the two actors will be sharing screen space after their super-successful flicks "Om Shanti Om" and "Chennai Express", which has set several new records at the Indian and overseas box offices.

Post the success of "Chennai Express", Shah Rukh and Deepika have become busy with "Happy New Year", directed by Farah Khan. The duo was spotted shooting for the film in Dubai. Pictures taken at the shooting set show how Shah Rukh and Deepika are enjoying each other's company, not just on screen but off screen as well. (To look at the pictures, click here).

The shooting of "Happy New Year", which got delayed due to SRK's shoulder injury, commenced in the first week of September. The film boasts of a big star cast, including Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood and Boman Irani.

According to reports, Deepika will play the role of a bar dancer from Maharashtra who is out of work. "Deepika will play the role of an out-of-work bar dancer from Maharashtra (during the time when dance bars were banned). And her role will have significance in the lives of all the five leading men," an industry insider told Hindustan Times.

It is also said that Shah Rukh will appear as a psycho lover in the film. The film revolves around Shah Rukh and the other men who are forced to take part in a dance competition which will have participants from various countries. Deepika's character helps the Indian men to win the contest and get the trophy.

The "Happy New Year" team will be in Dubai for two weeks, after which they will begin their next shooting schedule in Goa.

The film is produced by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment. It is slated for release on Diwali 2014.
