Ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has rejected reports of casting Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone for his much awaited film "Bajirao Mastani".

Bhansali said that reviving his most ambitious project "Bajirao Mastani" was not in his mind and that he was currently concentrating solely on "Ram Leela" and wanted to do full justice to it.

Recently, rumours were rife that the filmmaker had finally decided to take off with his dream project and had approached Shah Rukh Khan to sign him up for the lead role of Bajirao. If the reports were true, then this would mark Shah Rukh and Bhansali second venture after a gap of 11 years following the release of 2002 blockbuster "Devdas".

Denying the recent reports of finalising the cast for "Bajirao Mastani" Bhansali said, "At the moment I am only focussing on Ram Leela. I am not even thinking about any other project," DNA Reported.

Putting to rest various speculations on the cast, a member from the filmmaker's crew said, "We really don't know where the rumour of Deepika and Katrina playing the two female leads in Bajirao Mastani came from, because Sanjay has not spoken to any actress, or actor about that project. When he's shooting he's completely consumed by the film on hand. He talks to Deepika only about her character. In fact he calls her Leela and when she messages him she signs Leela."

Bhansali's "Ram Leela", which stars Ranveer Kapoor opposite Deepika Padukone, is set to hit the screens on 29 November.

According to earlier reports, Bhansali was in talks with "Hum Dil De Chuke" star Ajay Devgn to sign him for "Bajirao Mastani", but later approached Shah Rukh and was keen to cast him for the upcoming venture.

According to DNA, the film's original cast included Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukerji.
