Bollywood's superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who was named as the second richest actor in the world, has now secured a place in the richest Indian list.
The King Khan has become the first actor to enter the richest Indian list, which is dominated by business tycoons.
Wealth-X, a leading ultra high net worth (UHNW) intelligence and prospecting firm, revealed the list of top five Indian richest individuals in August.
The firm also named Khan, co-chairman of Red Chillies Entertainment and co-owner of the Indian Premier League cricket team Kolkata Knight Riders, as the wealthiest actor with nett worth US$600 million (3,660 crore).
SRK is one of top paid actors in Bollywood. Even when it comes to advertisement, he tops the list. In May, there were even reports that he signed one of the biggest endorsement deals.
Not only Richest Indian's list, SRK was also named as the Top Indian Leader in Arab World by Forbes magazine.
In May, Wealth-X also named him the second richest actor in the Hollywood and Bollywood Rich List. Khan managed to beat Hollywood actors Tom Cruise and Johnny Depp to gain the second spot.
Jerry Seinfeld topped the list with US$820 million, while Khan came second with US$600 million.
Meanwhile, Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani has topped the Wealth-X Richest Indians List with nett worth US$24.4 billion.
Steel tycoon Lakshmi Mittal is at the second position with a personal net worth of US$17.2 billion, Dilip Shanghvi, managing director of Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Limited, is at the third place with nett worth US$ 16.3 billion.
