Director Vikas Bahl's Bollywood movie "Shaandaar" (also spelled as Shandaar), starring Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles, has received decent reviews from the audience around the world.

"Shaandaar" is a romantic comedy movie and it has been promoted as India's first destination wedding film. Besides direction, Vikas Bahl has also written the story for the movie with Chaitally Parmar, while Anvita Dutt Guptan penned screenplay and dialogues. The movie is about how romance blossoms when two families from two East Indian business dynasties meet each other.

The audience, who have watched "Shaandaar", say that the movie has routine story with an engaging screenplay. Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have delivered very good performance and the quirky chemistry between the two is the main highlight of the film. Supporting artistes Pankaj Kapur, Sanjay Kapoor, Sanah Kapoor, Vikas Verma, Sushma Seth's performances are good assets of the movie.
