Here is another setback for South Korean actor-singer Jung Joon Young, who has been embroiled in a sexual assault controversy. After leaving KBS's award winning show 2 Days & 1 Night, the makers of the reality show Law of the Jungle said that they will edit out his part of the show.

Law of the Jungle will air in November, but the shooting has already been finished. The official press release states that the makers will edit out his scenes as much as possible before the show goes on air.

"The footage of Jung Joon Young in the South Pacific season of 'Law of the Jungle,' which is set to air in early November, was already filmed before he was charged on September 23," the official statement read.

"Due to the unique characteristics of the program, there are many scenes where the cast members film together, and so it is very difficult to edit [someone out]. However, we plan to air the broadcast with Jung Joon Young edited out as much as possible."

Joon Young has been in controversy after the sexual assault case came into limelight. The actor's ex-girlfriend had filed the case accusing him of a sex crime. However, she took the complaint back and submitted three letters saying that it was a small misunderstanding. Joon Young had apparently filmed them during a sexual act, but with her consent.

"I didn't think that something that we did as a joke at the time would cause such a big controversy. It was a big fault of mine that I thought everything would be okay if I knew I was innocent. I apologise to the program that I'm on and the people on it. As for what to do on those shows, I will follow whatever they decide. I will also follow diligently to the additional investigations," Joon Young said during a press conference.

Meanwhile, apart from Law of the Jungle, the actor has also left 2 Days & 1 Night show, Mr. Baek: The Homemade Food Master and also cancelled his appearance at a music festival -- Digital Media City music festival. The actor was expected to perform with his band, but days before the concert he cancelled his appearance.
