Patna, Oct 27 (ANI): At least five people were killed and more than 50 were injured when a series of blasts rocked Patna ahead of BJP's Hunkar rally on Sunday. According to reports, five people have lost their lives in the serial blasts in Patna. According to reports, the first explosion took place at a platform in Patna railway station and another bomb that was found in a toilet was defused. Reports also suggest that there were blasts near Elphinston cinema and Twins Tower, both near Gandhi Maidan, the venue of BJP's rally. The Centre has rushed a team of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to Patna. The incident occurred just hours before BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi was to address a rally in Gandhi Maidan. Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh spoke to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and asked him to speedily investigate the blasts and punish the perpetrators responsible for the incident.
