After a short hiatus to accommodate the US vice presidential debate, Scream Queens will be airing a brand new episode next Tuesday, October 11, and speculations are rife that one character's life will be cut short in the episode. And according to rumours swirling around online, Chad is the unlucky person.
Glen Powell plays Chad in the series, and it is being rumoured that he will die shortly after he proposes to Chanel. News of Chad dying further gained momentum after Fox released the synopsis of episode 4, which stated that Chanel tries to establish contact with the killer's latest victim from beyond the grave. Sadly, this will not be the only death in Season 2.
Recently, Taylor Lautner, who plays Dr. Cassidy, revealed on the Ellen DeGeneres show that the prospect of their character dying is something that worries most cast members. "The whole cast is always nervous, because it's true: the writers don't tell us anything," Lautner said. "When we get a new script, we all go into our trailers during lunch and just read it as fast as possible."
"First thing, you go to the end of the episode and see who dies," he said. "Hopefully it's not you."
Season 2 episode 3 of Scream Queens is titled Handidates, and the synopsis reads:
Determined to find out who the killer is, Dean Munsch, Denise and the Chanels question Hester, as well as the sole survivor of the Halloween massacre. Chad accuses Brock of being the killer and makes a shocking proposal to Chanel. Meanwhile, a new patient with an outrageous disorder leads Chanel #3 and Cassidy to grow closer, and another victim crashes a celebration.
Scream Queens airs Tuesdays on Fox.
