US Scientist Grows Asparagus in Alien Soil

A US scientist is trying to grow asparagus in alien rocks such as meteorites to prepare humans for space farming. In an attempt to grow microorganisms in space, Michael Mautner, a Virginia Commonwealth University researcher, hopes to terraform Mars and cultivate crops in the Martian soil that would make food, drink, and even oxygen available for any future human settlements. With the summer special mangoes being at the season's peak - we show you how to make Mango cocktails. To make mango mania we take some crushed ice in a blending jar & add mango cubes. To this we add 45 ml of Vodka and about 15 ml of Cointreau. We blend the drink and then strain the drink into a chilled margarita glass. Next, we will see how to make another mango cocktail called Dirty Jamaican. We will need just four ingredients - mango, Malibu, Cointreau and pineapple juice. Muddle the mango, add the other three ingredients, top it with some ice cubes and shake the drink. Pour the drink into glass and garnish! Sweet & spicy Mango pickle Ingredients Raw Mango - 1 1/2 cup Melted Jaggery - 1/2 cup Mustard seeds - 1 tsp Cumin seeds - 1 tsp Asafoetida powder - 1 tsp Ginger - 2 tsp Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp Chilli powder - 1 tbsp Salt to taste Gingelly oil - 2 tbsp Method 1. Add Gingelly oil to the pan, once oil is heated up add Mustard seeds, wait till it crackle, and then add Cumin seeds, Turmeric powder, Chilli powder, Asafoetida powder, Ginger, Raw Mango, salt & mix well. 2. Cook it in a low flame, without adding water. Keep stirring it. 3. Once the Mango cooked, make sure the pieces are tendered. Its time to add Melted Jaggery. Let it cook for about 10 minutes, till the jaggery reduces. 4. Turn off the stove when jaggery reduced. 5. Store it refrigerate the Sweet & spicy Mango pickle.
