China: 4 killed as Typhoon Mujigae wreaks havoc

Typhoon Mujigae, the 22nd typhoon of the year, has wreaked havoc on south China, killing at least four people in Guangdong Province. The typhoon, bringing gales and downpours, made landfall in the coastal city of Zhanjiang in Guangdong Province at 2.00pm on 4 October, packing winds of up to 111mph. Oct 5, 2015

Egypt: Location of Queen Nefertiti’s tomb could be bring boost to Egypt tourism

British archaeologist Nicholas Reeves visited Luxors Valley of the Kings on 29 September in an attempt to prove his theory that Queen Nefertitis tomb is located on the site. Reeves, an Egyptologist, published a paper earlier this year claiming the queens tomb is actually hidden behind the tomb of Tutankhamun, who died in about 1322 BC at age 18. Sep 30, 2015
