The winter finale of ABC's "Scandal" is expected to be a dramatic one, with the promo for Thursday's episode entitled "Baby, It's Cold Outside" showing a Huck-Rowan Pope confrontation.
"I know what you want," Huck tells a frightened Rowan. Another scene shows Huck strangling Rowan, and the latter encouraging him to do what he set out to do.
The episode is expected to end on a cliffhanger as the series is taking a break for the winter. So, in all likelihood, fans won't get to see whether Huck kills Rowan in Thursday's episode.
Elsewhere in the episode, fans will see Olivia trying to adjust to her new life as the President's new love. Americans are slowly falling in love with Olivia Pope, but it doesn't look like Kerry Washington's character is enjoying playing First Lady.
The official synopsis for "Baby, It's Cold Outside" reads:
Olivia is feeling more and more frustrated as she takes on "First Lady" type responsibilities at the White House. Meanwhile, Mellie proves just how powerful she can be and Jake and Huck continue the hunt for Rowan.

Fitz and Olivia are an item: President Fitz's relationship with his wife Mellie has been strained for a long time, and in season 5 he finally decided to call it quits with her.
This means, he took the initiative to admit to his relationship with Olivia, and the public knows about them. Although Americans weren't as accepting of Olivia as Fitz wanted, they seem to be warming up to her.
Fitz's impeachment and Papa Pope's prison break: Olivia decided to intervene and stop Fitz's impeachment when she sought out her father's help to blackmail the senators who were trying to impeach the President.
In return for his help, Olivia helped her father escape prison.
Jake and Olivia aren't on friendly terms: Jake and Olivia started on friendly terms in the beginning of season 5. But their relationship soon went south when she chose Fitz over Jake, and helped her father escape prison. Rowan Pope's escape, ultimately, led to Jake's wife being killed.
