New Delhi, Feb 13 (ANI): The Supreme Court of India on Friday (February 13) stayed the arrest of social activist in an alleged misappropriation of funds case till February 19. The court asked both Teesta and the Gujarat government to file relevant documents before it. The apex court ruling came after the Gujarat state High Court rejected Setalvad's anticipatory bail plea in the case. She is accused of embezzlement of funds collected on behalf of 2002 riot victims in Gujarat. In January 2014, police had registered a case against Setalvad, her husband Javed Anand and others for allegedly usurping rupees 15 million collected by them in form of donations for turning the colony into a riots museum.
