New Delhi, Aug 27 (ANI): The Supreme Court on Wednesday dismissed petition seeking the removal of Cabinet ministers with criminal background. The SC said that it is the call of the ‘framers of Constitution’ or the Prime Minister and the Chief Ministers of the state to see who they are appointing. The petition was heard by a bench comprising of the Chief Justice of India and five other judges. The Supreme Court has however clarified its stand on ministers with criminal background saying that, "Those in conflict with the law and involved in offences of moral turpitude and corruption should not be allowed to discharge duty as ministers".
