The trailer and jukebox of Power Star Pawan Kalyan's "Sardaar Gabbar Singh" (SGS) have failed to cross even half million views on YouTube. They have been viewed 2,23,138 times together in 18 hours.

Pawan Kalyan is the most popular Telugu actor and the promos of his movies usually get massive response. Some of his promotional videos  have been viewed more than a million times on YouTube in less than a day's time. His recently-released teaser of "Sardaar Gabbar Singh," which had crossed 1 million views on YouTube within 18 hours, is the best example of it.

The mega family fans, who were impressed with its teaser, were eagerly waiting to watch the trailer of "Sardaar Gabbar Singh." After seeing its massive response, the people in the industry felt that the trailer of "Sardaar Gabbar Singh" would get overwhelming response and set a new record on YouTube.

The makers of "Sardaar Gabbar Singh" unleashed the trailer on the official YouTube channel of North Entertainment Pvt Ltd at around 6 p.m. Monday, a day after it was screened at its audio launch event Sunday. In 18 hours, the 2-minute-58-second-long video garnered 180,863 views, 13,158 thumbs-up, 1,084 thumbs-downs and 681 comments. These numbers are apparently much lower than that of its teaser, which has got 40,897 thumbs up, 2,332 thumbs down and 2,079 comments in 12 hours.

The audio album of "Sardaar Gabbar Singh" was launched at a grand event held in Hyderabad and the songs were released on the official website of Eros International. A day later, its producers released its jukebox on the official YouTube channel of Eros. The 24-minute-8-second-long video, featuring six songs, got 42,275 views, 1,470 thumbs up 110 thumbs down and 176 comments in 18 hours. This is also said to be one of the poorest responses.

Many in the industry are busy finding out the the reasons for the poor response for the trailer and jukebox of "Sardaar Gabbar Singh." Most of them have one common reason and that is the delay in the release of these videos on YouTube after their formal launch.

The trend in Tollywood is that the trailer and jukebox are released on the net soon after their launch. However, the producers of "Sardaar Gabbar Singh" were late by almost 24 hours in releasing them. While fans were going berserk to watch the trailer, some miscreants allegedly leaked it online to cash in on the Pawanmania and they seemed to be successful to some extent in it.

Adding to this, the audience, who had watched the trailer at its screening at the audio launch of "Sardaar Gabbar Singh," were disappointed with the makers as they revealed the story and other details in it. The mixed response could be another reason for poor amount of views for its trailer.
