Sara Khan, who is currently shooting for a new Pakistani series Bekhudi, has impressed her fans with her powerful performance in the first promo of the show. In the short video, Sara is seen as a young innocent girl, whose life takes a drastic turn after a series of incidents.
The actress seems to be unfazed with the ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan, as she has been promoting the show on her Instagram page.
"Finallyyyyyyyy the first look of our show #BEKHUDI [sic]," the Kawach actress wrote on her Instagram page. The actress has also been posting several pictures with the cast of Bekhudi and is requesting fans to watch it.
This is Sara's second Pakistani TV show after Ye Kaisi Mohabbat Hai, which also features Pakistani actor Noor Hassan. Hassan had worked on Humsafar with Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan. With Ye Kaisi Mohabbat Hai, Sara became the first Indian television actress to make a mark in the Pakistani TV industry. She had earlier acted in a Pakistani telefilm, Tujhse Hi Raabta alongside Yasir Shah.
A few weeks ago, Sara had told the Times of India that she was having a tough time pacifying her parents back in India who are worried for her safety because of the issues between the two countries in the wake of the Uri attack.
The Kawach actress, however, said that her Pakistani colleagues were taking good care of her. She further added that it was disturbing to see so much tension between India and Pakistan and that Pakistani people were praying for peace.
